It's a possibility. The only thing I'm not certain about is how that would be represented in Mando'a script. Ideally, I'd like the Mando'a script and the Romanization to be 1:1 representations of the words.

I had a thought. Could we use double vowels as a mnemonic for stress? That could make pronunciation easier to memorize and preserve the double-voweley feel of the language I think that might actually be part of the original Romanization. I like the method that Taljair listed in the Total Guide - replace -ir with -ur to create the "<verb>er" noun.
In this case, you'd have rangur

It's a few of the punctuation characters, such as the ones you listed out -- your best bet is to copy the alphabet from the top of the page and paste it into Notepad, then install the font that I produced above (or I think Taljair posted his somewhere in this forum...) and use that alphabet to figur...
