Stress in Invented Words
I have a question regarding the stress in newly invented words. Is there a set pattern for this process, or is it just at the discretion of the creator?

Re: Words i accumulated or invented so far
Is there another updated version of the dictionary with the words included in this thread? And having read through this thread, I’d be willing to put it in my Google Drive and host it there. *Possible words I thought of while translating this into Mando’a* Cuyar- State, being, by extension version (...

Super Mario Bros (in Mando'a)
Hello! After recently re-playing through Super Mario Bros, I decided that a Mando'a version would be in order. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B56GGOdzU8XPaU56OUJob2UyN3c/view?usp=sharing ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B56GGOdzU8XPeWU5X3ZNdExIUVE/view?usp=sharing ) https://drive.google.com/file...

"Jate’karala" was created to make the adjective "lucky", while I imagined that "k'oya'ci" is a wish for good luck.

Re: Preposition for "By means of"?
I wonder if adol is what I'm searching for, although the English word "through" can mean "by means of" or possibly "so as to make a hole in" as in "going through a wall". I'm imaging the looks on somebodies faces if you were to say "I wrote through (and made a hole inside of) a pencil" instead of "I...

Preposition for "By means of"?
Is there a preposition in Mando'a that is roughly equivalent to the English "with", "by means of", "via", "using", etc? I picture "ti" as "accompanied by" and "de" as "near", os I don't think they have the meaning I'm looking for. Maybe if one truly doesn't exist, the phrase "teh pirim be" (from the...

Lost beten in your transcript. I do believe it has some significance  Ner Dunar (Ner dunaar)! The Windows International keyboard is not a fan of writing a single apostrophe, and that's what beten is in the font. I have changed the link in my original post to the same sentence I used, now with...

Re: Regarding the Transliteration of Mando'a...
It's a possibility. The only thing I'm not certain about is how that would be represented in Mando'a script. Ideally, I'd like the Mando'a script and the Romanization to be 1:1 representations of the words. I'm separating your list by consonants vs vowels, mostly for my own notes: Consonants: ( IPA...

Re: Regarding the Transliteration of Mando'a...
What about putting a horizontal bar over the stressed vowel when writing in the Mando'a script? I'm no good when it comes to working with fonts, so I'm not sure how difficult that'd be to implement into a font.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in Mando'a
Su’cuy vode! I have translated the first chapter of the book Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone into Mando’a! I was inspired to do this when I looked if there was a word for “letter” (in regards to mail). Whenever I see the word letter, I’m always reminded of the scene where letters shoot out of ...
