Re: Welcome to Learn Mando'a! (Post Here to Introduce Yourse
I've been gone so long I feel the need to reintroduce myself. I'm Steven, or Cuyan, a graphic designer based in Illinois. I've been a diehard Mando fan since SWI #86 and I'm proud to say that has never left. I've been gone for a while, focusing on school, life, and work, but those are a bit settled ...

Re: Want to learn Mando'a? Hopefully I can help
This page is getting a bit cluttered with discussion.
Discussion is good, though, so I decided to make this thread. Post questions, responses, spotted errors, and such there.

Re: Mando'a Posters, Banners, Avatars, etc.
Are you going to do a second one with your Mythosaur skull, too? I can. It doesnt lend itself as well to having an outline, but I can still throw it together to show. ...figure out how to say those in Mando'a. Ruug - old, archaic oya'karan - hunter (nounified from hunt) I would alternately be fine ...

Re: Mando'a MP3
I imagine the videos would be formatted similarly to this ? If that's the case, it would be funny to have video of me (or anyone) in armor and dub the voice over it. Also, it will probably be important to have a few people preview the videos prior to their being uploaded to check for pronunciation a...

Re: Dedicated Translation Help Thread
They are two words to express similar concepts. Its like adate and droten.Naux2010 wrote: Birov and ori'sol
Is there a difference or is the dictionary wrong on one?
As always, though, make sure the word means what you think it does.
Like with 'bah' and 'at.' both mean 'to,' but different kinds of 'to.'

Re: Costuming
Awesome to see more people getting in to costuming as well. 1 - Updated my first post.. Let that go to show you should never decide something looks "good enough". You can always do it again better. 2 - Should we have a logo or clan-esk patch we could paint on armor to specify being a part of this gr...

Re: Welcome to Learn Mando'a!
Glad to see you on here, Parjai! I envy your ability to translate your name so directly. I assume you are on the Mando Mercs forum as well? Off topic, but I don't know where better to post it: I will not be able to spend much time here before the summer. I'm going to Germany for part of the semester...

Poetry, and other Rhymes
I came across this, and decided to take a stab at making it rhyme. It's from KT's book Order 66 “Education and armor, Self-defense, our tribe, Our language and our leader— All help us survive” Ba'jur bal beskar'gam, Ara'nov, aliit, Mando'a bal Mand'alor— An vencuyan mhi. Mine - Beskar'gam bal Bajur ...
