It's weird to take in. Cynically, I recognize that no one wants to compromise on their own version of ideals, but that in and of itself is Mandalorian to me, as long as it doesn't go back to harm what is important to them. And yet, it's weird to me that a central hub that doesn't push any one partic...

Wow. The history on this is quite deep.

I'm at work, so while I have thoughts about your most recent post, I don't have time to provide a thoughtful answer. No problem. Thank you for taking the time to post a quick answer. Looking forward to what you can provide later. You can find True Mandalorians on Facebook, but I don't like them at ...

Olarom.

Keyucy (Keh-yoo-sh) - Wander > To walk the river; to move in a winding and aimless manner toward some faraway (whether physical or mental) place. Well, this might be a useful thread for me.

Does anyone have anything they'd like to share on the considerations of just how much communities that consider themselves Mandalorians branched away from Canon or Legends material?

This whole individualism thing does put a little bit of a kink in me clearly defining this as a discourse community for the sake of my essay, though, but oh well.

Do either of you have a comprehensive list of active communities, though?

Separation is inherent in the culture? We sort of see that in-universe, with the idea of different clans and factions in the Republic Commando books and comics, and clans, house, and factions in "The Clone Wars," "Rebels," and "The Mandalorian" television series. Yeah, I felt there was a very big e...

Well, I don't know how to sum up my experience, really. It's been a part of my life for a long time now. My satisfaction with the philosophy has remained fairly constant, and the sense of familial duty and reliance has been a very relevant part of my life. There's always issues when dealing with pe...

Yeah, I'll probably point out something about the inherent separation between different groups of Mandalorians as a cultural thing in and of itself.

Would you two give a sort of short blurb about your expeience with this culture, just so if I cite this forum?

Parjai A discourse community is a subculture or a close community of people with six points: a shared language, a threshold of experience, a means of communication (digital, in our case, as our research is on digital subcultures), a genre of communication, the use of that communication method, and ...

How might you separate real-world Mandalorian spirituality from the idea of legitimizing it as a way of life? If that question makes sense.

Thank you very much for your detailed personal breakdown. In that same vein, after all this, how much would you consider yourself to be a true Mandalorian, or meeting of the Resol'nare?

Hopefully, this community forum is still kicking. I'm doing a semester-long English project on exploring Mandalorians as a discourse community. Does anyone have anything to say about how Mandalorian culture impacts them personally? Whether or not you think you can be, or do try to be, or cannot be, ...
