There were a few things I couldn’t translate, but otherwise here it is -

23rd Psalm

• Alor cuy ner cabur; ni dar’copaani.
  
  Kaysh duumi ni udesiir o’r vorpan vhetin: Kaysh hiibi ni juaan udesla pirun.
  
  Kaysh jahaali ner runi: Kaysh vorpan ni o’r goyuste be [righteousness] par Kaysh be’gai [sake].

Tegaanal = rescuer
I used Alor in the place of LORD, most fitting imo. Any idea for more accurate translation for 'rod' & 'staff'?

This is a big deal, actually. Pretty much the defacto standard in the first book to be translated into other languages is the Christian Bible. Nice work.

If we could translate the Bible, we would have practically the ultimate standard by which we could translate just about ANYTHING.

There is SO much study into this that completion of the Mando'a Bible would fix practically EVERY problem Mando'a currently has.

Of course, it would also take years to complete. But why stop at only a few verses? If we keep working, maybe it will be complete after 20 years.

Well, here's one big reason I joined this board: I've been translating the Bible solo for a few weeks now, and it didn't occur to me to check if anyone else was doing the same until a couple of days ago. Derp. I started from Genesis, and I've done chapters 1 to 5 and I'm on 6.
But since this thread is for verses, I'll start a new one. I'd really appreciate feedback on grammar and vocab (especially vocab).

Psalm 91 - Translation incomplete [all verses, few words left]

I've not made a lot of progress on chapter 7 in the last few months, but I have had a mostly-finished Psalm sitting in another document for a while now, so here it is: Psalm 91 (frequently used in my family).
Also, I may not have stated this before, but just for the record: My purpose in pursuing this translation project is essentially academic, and in no way religiously motivated.

Words in [ ] are things I simply could not translate accurately or adequately. Suggestions are welcome.

1. Kaysh meg oyacyi o’r aran be Ori’laamyc
ven’udesii o’r prudii b’Ori’dralyc.

Psalm 91
