Akaan means war. The poem is in 5-7-5-7 meter - I wanted to do a haiku, but it just didn't fit with the message I chose. (I used long vowels liberally - sometimes they're part of the meter, sometimes they're not.) They all rhyme according to their meter as well.

Literal English translation:
Alone I walk
and wait for time,
as you hurry -
through eternal flame.
Legs burning,
thousand little pains;
your head cold
numb to rotting bodies.
No-end wars,
Resol'nare forget!
- walk in pain
just for you re-meet.

Here's a handwritten version. My style of handwriting is rather strict to the original typeface, so that it's easier to read. I don't find it hard to write it fast, especially for letters used the most (like N, M, A, Ay, Ey, Yc, and others).

Re: Poem: "Akaan"
I love it! It's so satisfying to see stuff that actually works with rhyming and meter in Mando'a, instead of conversions of other poems!
