Re: Welcome to Learn Mando'a! (Post Here to Introduce Yourself)
Su'cuy, vod!
I've played a mando on and off for years now on a play-by-post website (SWU RP -- http://swrponline2.proboards.com/ ) While I'm not currently active on the site I still find ways to tool around with my character, especially since the new series revived some of the muse I had for her prior to the travesty that was Disney and Lucasfilm shoving Karen Traviss out of the loop with her work on mando'a and the mandalorian culture.
That being said, I was searching hard for something, anything, to help me re-learn whatever I had known way back when as it came to grammar for mando'a. Very, VERY, little is still out there....and then I stumbled across this place! Amazing! I've already linked a primer on here back to my friends on their discord channel so they can make use of it, but I had a few questions for the creator and so...here I am. I may not be overly active, but this is me, your friendly neighborhood mando'ika, Lia! (or Tal...I answer to both xD)

Su'cuy! My name is Zach. I am 22, and live in the beautiful state of Oklahoma. I am in the process of joining the mercs, but I am the shiniest shiny around. Brand new to the world of Mando'a.
I am a die hard fan of star wars and have always wanted to dive into the culture. I am a Medic, and survival enthusiast outside of all this.
I am in the process of begining the following:
-Name & Back Story
-Beskar
-Learning the language & culture
Please teach me, for this is the way.

So when I said I was shiny I also meant I have no knowledge oh how our language works

Su cuy'gar!
My name is Jonas, I'm from Germany and Icame here to seriously learn Mando'a.
For quite some time I've had this huuge fascination of Mandalorians and the Mandalorian culture but I was just too lazy to learn Mando'a. I try to change that now.
I'm happy to be here and hope to learn.

Su'cuy vode!
I go by Phaolan on most forums on the HoloNet so I figure I'd stay with it.
I've been interested in the culture for awhile and working on a set of Beskar'gam as the money from Bounties allows, hoping to get into the MandalorianMercs when its done.

Su'cuy Vode! I love the language and the culture, and to be honest, the books have helped me get out of a few dark parts of my life. My wife is now getting into the books as well, so we both want to learn Mando'a as a way to communicate.

Hey all!
I've come to this site in order to ask a very important question which I have yet to find a satisfying answer to. Or maybe you guys already formulated the answer and I am just bad at finding the thing :P
Hope it will lead to some interesting conversation ^^

Su'cuy!
I love the language and the culture, I live by it, even if the letters are stranger than Aurebesh. I know maybe a few words, but that's the extent. I'm hoping to be fluent in Mando'a one day. Looking forward to working with the rest of you guys!

I'll be honest, I don't use the script for anything day-to-day, it's solely foe engravings and tattoos and the like to me. You're not alone in finding it difficult

Su'Cuy!
My name is Atticus (although on forums i go by the name Atin).
I am very interested in Mando culture, language, and food (especially food). I hope to learn a lot here and to be able to meet some Vode as well. Not much else i have to say.
