I’m trying to put together a dependable postal code dataset for a project, and I’ve quickly learned that finding accurate, current information isn’t as simple as I thought. Even within a single country, formats and boundaries can change, and official sources aren’t always easy to access.
For my purposes, I’d like to have postal codes linked to cities, regions, and preferably coordinates so I can integrate them into a mapping feature. I’m also wondering how others handle updates, since codes can be reassigned or discontinued over time.
