I thought I would put these here. I can explain why poetry if there is an interest, but I am hoping to pick people's brains about the words I couldn't find translations for or better translations than I have been. or covering any obvious mistakes.
Or of course, it just can be a repository of my madness and I explore this language!
all things are possible.
Note I don't own any of the poems, and all should be credited. Unless I state otherwise.
Oh and feel free to join in! id love it if I wasn't the only mandoa poet around

The Bad Mother
Susan Griffin
The bad mother wakes from dreams

All night she’s engineered a train
An ca dala’la gotabor train

recognizes lies. You don’t
Haa’taylir’la jehaate. Gar dar’narir

Ibic ik’aad dala
pinioned to – does not listen,
Morut’yc at - dar’narire sushir
she drives with all her magic down a
Dala’la viinir ti an dala be’trat daab
different route to darkness where
Be’as goyust at werde call

High Flight
BY JOHN GILLESPIE MAGEE JR.
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
Oya! Ni ganar eyaytir te kovid burcyan be vheh
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Bal redalur te kedii'trayc bat nuhur'silvered kagal
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
tranyc'vaiila ni climbed, bal ruto te eyaytyir briikase
of sun-split clouds,—and done a hundred things
be tranyc'sukur - bal done onlan kebise
You have not dreamed of—wheeled and soared and swung
Gar ganar nuru'vercopa be -- wheeled bal ru'kagalar bal swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
Lammyc o'r ru'tranyc ur. Kagalar ogir,
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
Ni'ganar oya'karir te orjorer'ir along, bal ru'goorar
My eager craft through footless halls of air ....
Ner cyau'kuyc me'sen adol nu'taab halls be abik
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
Laam, laam te munit, echoy'la, hettirar kebiin
I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Ni'ganar ru'kovidar te woor-vhehir kovidar ti pakod grace
Where never lark nor ever eagle flew—
Vaii draar lark rura vurel eagle kagalar--
And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod
Bal, while ti shev'la lifting be'kov'nyn Ni'ganar ru'kemir
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Te Kov'nyn untresspassed sanctity be tra,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.
Naritir dayn ner gaan, bal ri'tigaanur ti troan te Traat.
