Mando'a textbook

Unread post by Tal’jair Rusk » 17 May 2015 11:49

Vode,
Recently I had an idea of creating textbook for mando'a. You know, the likes there are for children to learn english or other foreign language. With illustrations, basic texts, vocabulary learning etc.
We could make it like a colorful pdf or epub (any other e-book).
If anyone's interested in participation in the project - let me know, will ya?

I could make an effort, I guess... My artistic skills are still pretty limited, but if I had a project, I could see what I could do...

Some specific part of it. I could spin my wheels for a few weeks and probably turn out a decent plan for it myself, but we're talking a collab here and I'd rather not duplicate effort.

This sounds like a good idea. There has been light talk about something like this for a while, but we've never gotten very far.

I'd love to help. I've no clue how much use I might be, but I offer my services regardless.

I think it's a very good idea, cuz I've been looking for something like that for some time and found nothing but single lessons or vocabulary and grammar guides. It's pretty hard to learn from them, for they have no system in introducing new grammar or words so far.

Thing is, Carrie, we aren't teachers, so developing or even applying existing sustems to create a textbook is very hard. I've been looking high and low for someone with expirience in such things, but unfortunately no luck. Lotta people want it but no-one knows how to create it.
