Death
Death
I think this is the right forum. My step dad just passed two minutes ago, I would like to write a speech for him in mando'a. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Death
I'm sorry for your loss, vod.
Without knowing you or your stepdad, I can only offer this.
In this time of mourning, I remember you. For your care, I thank you. For your love, I return love. You are not dead while your name is on your loved ones’ mouths, while we remember you. You have gone far away, but someday I will arrive there, and we will be together again.

Ibac cuyir shabla ka'ra (because I don't believe jate'kara would be the appropriate word to use), vod. My condolences.

Re: Death
I'm curious about how Mandos would view suicide. For example, would it be considered an act of cowardice, would it be considered an insult to life itself, would one shame his or her family by taking their own life, etc. I realize that this is not the original topic of this thread, but it interests me and is related, so I figure it's one worth discussing. Any thoughts, anyone?

I think this would be an appropriate topic to post that question, however, you would probably get more answers if you made a different topic for it.BlackSwordKirito wrote:I'm curious about how Mandos would view suicide. I put my answer in a spoiler so that if anyone wasn't comfortable reading it they wouldn't have to.BlackSwordKirito wrote:I'm curious about how Mandos would view suicide.
