Adverbs and Slowly

Unread post by Glorious Space » 20 Apr 2023 00:42

Is there a set rule for adverbs, like there is for verbs with 'ir'? I'm asking this as I'm trying to describe something burning slowly in a story I'm writing, except there is no word for 'slowly'.

Thanks in advance.

Adverbs follow the same rule as adjectives in general, meaning you use the -yc or -la ending.

Dir'iviin'yc hettyc.
Trikar’la’kar'taylir cuy or'dinii’geroya, bal ni’cuy di'kut be laamyne siver.

Completely! Just wanted to add that another way I’ve seen/used ‘slowly’ is n’iviin’yc, in case that shows up somewhere.
